Honeymooning on the Amalfi Coast

Amalfi Coast

The Beautiful Amalfi Coast is a 50 kilometer stretch of coastline on the southern edge of Italy’s Sorrentine Peninsula. With pastel coloured fishing villages, mesmerising views and impossible cliffs the Amalfi Coast is just breathtaking.

We flew into Naples and then took a chauffeured private car to Posatano town, one of the most beautiful and steep towns I have ever seen.
Positano is a  vertical village with pastel coloured houses on the cliffsides. Enjoy all the food, wine and beaches this idilic town has to offer.

A little insider tip is to flag the main beach and head to Spiaggia di Fornillo, a 10 minute walk along a coastal path to a more local and less crowded beach.

Take a day trip up to Amalfi town by boat. Enjoy the winding streets and the Beautiful church and stop at one of the beachside restaurants for a Aperol Spritz or just relax in the Sun.

Amalfi

I have always dreamed of visiting Capri and I am happy to tell you it exceeded my expectations. Walk up endless hills and steps to Capril town or take the funicular up to the town centre. Stroll down Via Camerelle, famous for the luxury shops and designer fashion boutiques which line the street with beautiful bougainvilleas along the path.
Take a walk to the scenic overlook facing the Faraglioni rock formations.
We hiked all the way down to eat beneath Faraglioni’s rocks at Da Luigi ai Faraglioni restaurant. Make sure you book in advance or else you won’t get a table or a sun lounger! We had the most amazing day here, we spent the afternoon napping, swimming, eating and enjoying the incredible views.

The last stop on the Amalfi Coast was Sorrento.
Visit a limoncello factory and go shopping. The shopping was to die for.. (I came home with 3 Italian leather hand bags!!!!)

We just loved our time on the Amalfi Coast, with the passionate Italian lifestyle, the people the food and the scenery it will truly give you that feeling of la dolce vita!
