The Duke of Marlborough, Russell
A show biz celebration for Brent & Ceili

Brent and Ceili travelled from the Gold Coast to celebrate their unique and vibrant wedding in Russell, Bay of Islands, NZ.
They were joined by 80 of their closest family and friends who traveled from all four corners of the globe to be with them. This isn’t your ordinary couple – Brent and Ceili are both professional Irish dancers who now have their own show ‘A Taste of Ireland’ that currently tours worldwide! The vibe of their wedding day matched their unique story, and we tied in details that brought in little snippets of the amazing and interesting people they are.
The ceremony was held at Pompallier Mission House in Russell. Red roses lined the aisle, guests had individual parasols to shade from the hot January sun, and glasses of champagne and shots of Limoncello were popped open for the celebration after they said ‘I Do’. Ceili was joined by her five stunning bridesmaids dressed in deep red with individual stemmed roses, and their gorgeous daughter Elle stole the show as the little flower girl.

Guests walked along the waterfront to The Duke of Marlborough Hotel where the celebration continued with cocktail hour and reception.
In the reception room, the stage red theme continued with all the table details. Long tables were adorned with more red roses, touches of red fruits, ribbon and lots of dramatic candle lighting. Large satin bows brought life to the welcome and seating chart signs, and the theatre vibe was really brought to life in this stunning 140 year old hotel.

Traditional Irish band ‘Rough Town’ featuring Talisks very own Charlie Galloway brought the tunes and lifted the vibe through the roof throughout the evening. With a lot of the guests also being Irish dancers, the dance floor was well and truly alive, with people showing their insane moves one by one in an Irish dance ‘step about’.
This was definitely no ordinary celebration, and we were so honored to work alongside Brent and Ceili planning and styling both their week of events and wedding day.
